Hi Ruger I have some paperwork on my EKO that says to burn potatoe rines from time to time to help keep soot to a minimal I have not tried this yet because I am currently installing my EKO but I will be burning tator rines to do the job..DAVE

I have used the logs in my free standing "Earth Stove". My chimney got almost plugged with creosote and I tried one of those logs and they did a great job.
I have no idea how they work in a owb. I have tried the old time potato peals.. Did not work.
