I just got this little dynamo. It runs really well for a 25cc saw & is very light @ 5.5 pounds. It will do much better after opening up the muffler a bit & letting it breathe. It came with an Oregon VPX chain:3/8lp x 14” x .05” & it chatters pretty bad so I am going to try a Stihl chain & some different Oregon chain. Several folks are saying 1/4” .043 kerf is the way to go on these but I believe I will stick with the 3/8lp. They are allegedly coming out with a rear handle version. I will put a tank or two of fuel thru it testing a couple different chains tomorrow.

I have little intention of running it one handed, two hands will be used during the break in cutting & chain testing. It was bought for pruning yard trees & entrances at field borders while in the lift. Often times my pole saw is just to awkward to have/use in the lift. If/when Echo releases a rear handle 2511 I would consider purchasing one for clearing fence lines & scrub brush.
