I saw in only a few posts about the Harman diagnostic tool that you plug into the stove for troubleshooting. This was a tool that the Harman dealers have but a few homeowners bought also. I didnt know that such a tool existed...but is it really just for the circuit board testing or is something that can diagnose other stove troubles past the blink status indicators? This tool is too pricy for me to buy for my needs but I am curious about it.
The funny part is that my retired Harman stove dealer, who now works at his brothers dealership partime (but considerably farther away from me) would probably sell the tool to a customer-no problem. As the slogan goes....If you wanna pay...anythings for sale. Plus, as an added bonus, if you get a stove dealer that is so sick of dealing with people- theres an incentive to get the problematic "no money making" consumer off their back. Sell them the tool and get rid of them. And hope they use the tool right because you dont want them back. ;)
But anyway, if someone out there has the tool....photograph the manufacturer info on the back and post it. Is the same tool sold for diagnosing other stove makes? Most likely I would guess not, I bet it was made specific for Harman.

it tells the control board # and dipswitch setting, esp temp and target temp, room temp and target temp, feed rate and max feed rate, some voltage readings to the blowers, the numerical value the control board sees when you turn the feed rate knob or the temp. selection knob and maybe some other stuff i'm forgetting. It is helpful when trouble shooting things as it significantly speeds up checks, but it isn't necessary to fixing a harman. They dont really have a manufacture label just harmans label on them, i showed it to a CAT electrical specialist once and he said it was custom made for harman or by harman
