Fresh split is between 25-30% and since its ash it should be good for this winter no?

Split kind of small, stack loosely single-row so a lot of air can get through, in your windiest spot, and hope for the best. Won't be primo, but it might be OK.

No its the small pile to the left of pic one and another larger small pile out of the pic to the left of 2. Those are all 20" cuts and the stack is about 4'6" You think Im still short of a cord????

A cord from a single straight trunk tree is alot of wood. That was a big tree. Too bad you lost it. But you did a fantastic job dropping it. In a pretty crowded woodlot. Doesnt look like you hit anything else on the way down. I'd be proud of that one.

The piles in front are red oak, elm and maple about a 1/4 cord each row.

Next you ask???? See the pic below two 70ft red oaks that want to eat my house, actually do you guys and girls think that $1350 is a good price to have those dropped? The first one with the X has a small hole in the back and goes 3/4 the way through plus is leaning towards the house the one behind should be easy looks like a straight drop. Once those are down I should have about 4 more cords and plenty of work till winter.
