I am looking at a log splitter and figure a 22 ton should do me just fine. curious what your thoughts were on the huskee vs the dirty hand tools, both are around the same price. Is one better than the other? Also from what i can tell, the huskee splitter is now called a countryline 22 ton splitter, is it the same thing?

This topic was covered here not too long ago. Do a search to find the thread. I think the consensus was that either will serve you just fine. I got the TSC CountyLine / Husky one (same machine, made by Speeco), and I like it just fine.
Other than a little difference in design, like filter placement, engine brand, etc. they are pretty comparable machines. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice. At this point I would just take a good hard look at both and select the one you like best.

Either would be fine. I lean toward DHT for a little faster cycle time and a few marginally better parts.
