I read on here somewhere that someone used an Electrical fish tape, instead of buying those rods for a chimney brush, I bought one and was wondering how they attached the brush to it. I've done a search, and looked through the forums and can't find the darn thing....anyhelp would be appreciated!

Lots of Duct Tape?

It might take some doing. Get the proper sized nut and see if you can half thread it onto an eye and onto the brush then reinforce it with epoxy. Or maybe just weld the eye to the nut then you can use all the threads on the brush.
