We got a lot of snow here recently, so I needed a better way to get wood from the storage pile up to the porch (not the wheelbarrow). I made this dolly attachment along the lines of some similar things I saw online. Just needed some 1/4" X 1-1/2" flat stock, a chain, and some hardware.

One issue for me is that my wheelbarrow is located in a shed on the other side of the yard with 2 ft of snow I would rather not shovel. The wheelbarrow is indeed easier to push around. This thing is more of a pull-cart (tilt it up so it rides only on the wheels). It can go up stairs, but it's a bit of a lift with a full load.

I was thinking good for basement burners with bilco doors.

We've pushed a lot of miles with a Gardenway cart loaded with firewood, we're done. Now I load the box on the tractor and back it to the porch to load the rack.
