Douglas fur pellets

Is it worth the extra money for douglas fur pellets.There about $90 a ton more than pine here

That seems like a super high premium for pellets that probably are only slightly more energy rich. If you test burn a few bags of the pine and they aren’t too dusty and burn fine then they’re probably a better buy in terms of $/BTUs.
