Drolet Compak EPA Exempt Wood Stove - DB03060
Anybody have one of these woodstoves.? Was wondering how thick the steel is on this. Dynamite buys sells this for 750 m/l
Anyone have a used one or similar size little stove ,airtight, with thick steel and an outside air port??
This one does have a port apparently.

We recently had a poster bemoaning the fact that he got the VG equivalent of this stove. He regretted not doing the research first. So kudos for doing some homework.

This stove appears to have no air control except the flue damper. You can do better for your money. Give Dynamite Buys a call and see what they are selling the Napoleon 1100p for or get an Englander (Summers Heat) 13NC from Home Depot or Lowes. It's the same price and a heckuva lot more stove. Whatever you get, get an EPA stove.

I second BG's suggestion.

I would stay away from EPA exempt stoves at all costs, especially if you are buying it new.
With an EPA exempt stove you may even have issues getting to pass inspection or even getting your insurance company to cover you. Not to mention the more wood you will use with one and the more pollotion you will be putting into the air.

50-SFP12 this model of Englander looks ok....??? what happened to 400 dollar prices, maybe in January if things keep getting worse...Home Depot sales are down,
you can tell by all the staff being so kiss ass these days.

No, that also is not an EPA stove. Look at the 13 NC instead. Some folks have been able to get it for $400 in late January sales at the big box stores.
