All was standing dead, mostly Black, willow, and southern red oak, swamp/red maple, and sweet gum. My brother cut 2/3 of the trunks and I pushed them over with our skid steer. Standing dead cutting can be very dangerous, but machines can help (skid steer has 3/4 enclosed metal cab in case a widow maker drops during knock down). I am now burning some Acer rubrum (red/swamp maple) and it is HOT! Using an EPA efficient insert, I am zero carbon footprint heating by burning already dead trees
