Hey I installed my duratech class a chimney today. I used two 30 degree offsets to go around my soffit. The only thing is if you twist the chimney by have they like to try and unscrew. I don't know if the wind would do it or not.

I installed it with a roof brace and braces the elbow to the soffit. I read in the instructions there's some metal screws that might have needed to be installed but I'm not positive because I bought the elbows open box.

Does anyone know if I was supposed to screw the joint with the elbows?
