Question:

I would like to know if there is any way to regulate the heat from my wood stove, it runs us out of the room with heat now.

Answer:

This stove sounds like a non-airtight, which means it leaks so much air into the fire that control becomes difficult. You could install a turn damper into the stove pipe, which might help slow down the chimney draft. You could also limit the amount of wood which you place into the unit....this will also help.
Best bet? Get a new clean burning stove when you have the $$
