Anyone have an Earth owb? If so would you recommend these units? The specs and the pricing appears decent although have not heard much about this company.

Trying to decide between it and the Shaver forced air outdoor furnace with the 12 inch diameter tubes.

I would recommend a solid month of research, before you buy anything. Should take you all of a couple days to see a wood boiler should not be an impulse buy. I see a lot of this unfortunately, yet when it comes to their guns, ATV's, snowmobiles or boats. They do a lot of research.
Don't take this the wrong way, but those units will probably be on the bottom of your list after even a little research. Don't let cheap initial cost steer you wrong, because after just one season you can easily exceed the cost of a good unit and proper install. Many forget to calculate long term cost and how much more wood some OWB's require. And I'm not talking 10 years, but just in the first 2-3 seasons.
Good luck, and make sure you stick around here with more questions, you can never have too much information, it helps weed out the useless stuff too.

Thanks so much for the foresight. I am beginning to look around a bit more. Cost is always an issue. Any recommendations on what are the medium to best owbs out there? Central boiler appears to have good reviews. Have been using wood stove for years and wife wants more heat throughout the house.

. Cost is always an issue. Any recommendations .

If cost is the issue, then buy whichever unit is the cheapest!

I would recommend that you look at neither.
Build a small out building and put a Garn Jr in it and your money will not be wasted!
