Question about air intake on an older earth stove. On the front of the stove there is a manual/bi-metal controled intake damper, problem is ther seems to be no intake holes into the firebox. This stove will burn good with the door cracked open, but as soon as the door is closed the fire is starved for air and will go out.

Older models like the 1800HT I have has 3 primary air holes right under the baffel plate and a start up above the door on the inside, hard to see. If you don't see your's listed here (broken link removed)
then just go to the tech support linke on their page and submitt your info, they mailed me out an owners manual right away for free.
