I have an EKO 40 that is about 4 years old and just started using it for the season this past week. The problem I am having is that no matter where I set the water temperature it seems to keep heating well beyond that. I first had it set for 180*F and it would go up to 200*F and then go into E-2 (overheat condition). I tried dropping the water temp to 175*F and it still goes up to 195*F. It appears my circulator is running as the pipes are hot coming and going from the boiler. Any ideas or suggestions as to what I should try or look for? Thanks for any help. Not sure if it has any bearing, but I have almost no gasification.
