Hi all,
Thanks for your replies. I opened up the baseboard and I don't see anything that resembles a fuse and I'm not in a location where it's easy to find parts. I think I'm gonna get a new baseboard heater. Just lucky it's not freezing out.
I attached photos of what the baseboard relay/transformer looks like. It seem that it is only compatible with specific thermostats. If you short the terminals, i think i fries something in the circuit. I suspect that's what happened to ebuck's tenant.
