Is the Energex hardwood any better than the softwood? I tried about 5 bags of the softwood and the ash was terrible and it also fill the burnpot with a huge clinker. Dont think I will use the Energex softwood again. Just curious about the Hardwood ones. >:(
 
I've burned about 1/2 ton of their hardwood pellets this year. They burn fine in my Quad Mt Vernon. No ash or clinker issues with them. And they are good on heat output.
 
I burn energex soft wood and I like them, must be my stove.
