Englander 30 NC baffle replacement?

Hi all,
I'm getting ready to do my yearly maintenance on my wood stove and was wondering how do you know when to replace the ceramic fiber board baffles?

Mine seem to be getting some large pits in them and the manual for the wood stove doesn't give much direction.

It's hard to see the pits but it is definitely noticeable deterioration.

It doesn't look too bad though it wouldn't hurt to have a replacement on hand.

Agreed, I'd still run them, but also get new ones ordered to have around.
Generic ceramic insulation board is way cheaper than factory boards too...like half, or it was anyways.

It looks similar in wear to mine. I wouldn’t be too worried about it. If you do go the generic ceramic board route and have to cut to fit, make sure you wear a p100 respirator as you REALLY don’t want to breath those shards in.
