englander outside air kit

I was just peeking at an englander stove at Lowe's, yesterday, and was looking at the OAK in the hopper. Is that the same as this?: http://www.dynamitebuys.com/store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=1453

I think it goes on the outside of the air inlet using the upper 2 bolts (screws?) and faces downward to act as a rainshield.

correct, it is a rain shield. as for the simpson kit , it looks to be the same thing that we include with our units. if you are buying a new ESW freestanding pellet or multifuel unit , the OAK kit is included with the stove , it will be located in the hopper.
