Does anybody have a more detailed parts list other than what came with the stove? My local dealer is a bit of a boob and doesn't know jack about what he sells. I need an exhaust motor gasket, after two years of removing the motor to clean the ash out the asket is junk now..

Just measure the diameter of where the old gasket sat? Is it 6" in diameter?

If its just a standard 6" (maybe 7" too) then there are many places to find one. Also, look on ebay and buy sheets of Lytherm and make your own gasket? Just a thought. But your not stuck with just going to your Enviro dealer. Many different avenues to be had.....

Thanks for all the great replies, i will measure it this weekend and look around. I don't have much faith in this local dealer. Two years ago i asked him to call me with a price to deleiver five tons of pellets, i'm still waiting for that call lol

The round gasket is a 6 inch lytherm gasket with 6 bolt holes. Like the others above stated the EF-012 is the Enviro part number or you can use aftermarket gaskets or even make your own.

Well my local dealer called and left a message and said the gasket is $31 plus shipping, lol no way pal. Looks like i either find one on Ebay or make my own.

Yeah. They can be had for less than $10 if you look... Or make them. I have sheets of Lytherm and have started making several different gaskets that I need. For $30, I can make dozens of gaskets (some large, some small).

You can use just about any gasket from any brand. There are two sizes out there, 6" and 7". The 7" ones are for Avalon Astoria and many Whitfields but all Napoleon, Englander, Breckwell, Kozi, Bosca, etc...or any motor with a 5.5" hub. The newer Enviro gaskets are twice as thick without cut aways for the holes and tend to last longer than the rest, Your gasket would have been the older style but $30 is a little nuts.

If you order the gasket from Englander, they send a motor gasket and a hub gasket together. You can trim the edges of the hub gasket to make another one but it is a little tricky to line up the screws and gasket on your motor housing but not too difficult.

Well i found a seller on Ebay and ordered two gaskets/w free shipping. I started looking for other parts i may need some day and discovered how inexpensive they are. What other parts on the Enviro are known to go bad??

Sometimes the convection blower on those likes to go out. the bearings tend to go bad a bit faster than they should.

Hi all. Good choice for stove- have been working on Enviros for few years, good stoves for money spent. Depending on age of stove, if orig (called the windsor) the convex blower was an issue, the empress model (same stove) not really troublesome, but never bad to have an auger motor, an exhaust sensor (Proof of fire switch in exh housing) and a convex blower. For the comb motor gasket, we put permanent stove gasket in place on exh housing, 1/2 in glass gasket (self sticking tape on back) with a small amt of silicone for perm sealing, push mounting screws thru the gasket or cut slits whatever you want. Then the annual cleaning done on that motor is much easier, it will seal better too. Also check for pellet dust leaks around auger housing seal any of those found with silicone. The tighter you seal it up, the longer the stove will last and easier each yearly cleaning will be. Hope this helps.

Good to know guys, my stove is going on three years now so maybe its time to have some basic parts on hand.

CONVECTION BLOWER I have an '08 Empress FS and I'm on my 4th convection blower. As previously mentioned, the bearings go bad - quick! As I said, I'm on my 4th blower now and I can hear the bearings starting to whine. at $250+ to replace, it's a tough pill to swollow!

$250 alot of cash but its worth it when the temp drops and you have to use the furnace. My plan is to get an auger motor and a convex blower just in case.
