Good morning,

I have an Enviro Meridian that is not dropping pellets into the burnpot. I have emptied and cleaned the hopper, and can see that the auger is not turning. Any advice on how to address this?

Thanks

Is there a set screw on your auger that might have loosened up?

When was the last time the stove was cleaned including removal of combination
blower ,and exhaust passages . When you start stove does the combination blower come on
after 15 sec are there any blinking lights on the control panel heat settings or the combination blower stops?

Check to see if the high limit tripped. Located on the control panel side behind the firebox. You will need to open the side panel. If so you need to clean the stove as mentioned.

I just cleaned it thoroughly and it still won't drop pellets. Can you give me more details on the high limit switch?
The high limit is on the control panel side, you have to open the right side door and the high limit is in back of the fire box.

So I found the high limit switch and it wasn't tripped. I have a strong suspicion that it is the auger motor as the stove is calling for pellets and it just will not comply.

On a side note - I would never purchase this stove or deal with this dealer ever again. I have kept copious notes on the entire affair and will be posting the long story shortly.

The auger might be jammed with a foreign object. You could try loosening the set screw and seeing if the auger turns freely. How old is the unit? If the unit is fairly new , then it might be a warranty covered repair.

Sorry to hear you are having problems. The Meridian is a very good stove and we have little problems with it. You can call Russo Products in Randolph MA - they are the distributor and have a tech guy that can help
