that you're not conscious of the sound of your stove's blower until about 30 seconds before it shuts off? And that it gets progressively louder for that 30 seconds? Is our hearing actually 30 second behind the blower or something? Have I had too much to drink? :oops:
 
"...Have I had too much to drink? :oops:" Perhaps. Or maybe not quite enough.
 
It just becomes one of those background noises that we become desensitized to until ... there is a change in the sound :cool: Drink on:)
 
As a mt vernon owner, there is no relation between the perceived noise of my stove and my BAC. It's silent no matter what. :p

When the blower starts and runs, it's being driven by the motor, it's constantly under a load. Then when it shuts off, it continues to spin, freewheel, until it gradually comes to a stop. It's probably not really "louder", just a different tone ............
 
No such thing as" Too much":p
