I have been looking at different stoves. Most top feed use a damper to adjust the draft/flame in the firebox, assume to lean or richen the fire.

How often must one adjust this??

On the Harmons there is no damper, what does the Harmon use instead??? Do they modulate the exhaust blower speed instead? If so what sensor provides feedback to control the blower?

One store told me that a lot of issues on stoves are due to people misadjusting the damper and that causes the stoves to run rich or lean.

Anyone familiar with the Harmans care to comment and educate me.

Thanks

I don't know the harmons but the quadra fire you adjust the pellet feed not the air and the stove comes set from the factory ready to go.
