hello to all, i am new to the forum as well as being new to corn/pellet burning. picking up my us stove # 6220 furnace today putting in basement & connecting to existing gas furnace as a primary/backup system. have read the owners manual { not very well detailed } .

my question.. the manual says no more than 4 ft. horiz. run . i would like to run 4 in. off the back of unit w/tee go vet. 4 ft. then 90 elbow then 8 ft. horiz. thru outside wall & terminate with jet vent cap ?
has anyone ran more than 4 ft. horiz.vent pipe { 4 in. } without any problems. ???
all help will be greatly appreciated....

thanks

herman

If the owners manual said only a 4' horizontal, DO NOT go past that.

Safety is the main reason.
