I have had three fireplaces sandblasted in a property I have recently bought, and I was after some advice on how to go about protecting the cast iron.
I would like to keep the colour as natural as possible with a matt finish. I have heard of a 1 pac lacquer but have been told that it's not a one time deal and that it would need to be redone over time annd each time, the fireplace would become more shiney.
I have attached some photos so you can hopefully see what I'm working with.

Thanks in advance.
