Some may think I crazy but I am firing up the St. Croix in a few minutes, going down to the mid 30's tonight and damp I have lots of corn left so I might as well enjoy. I never thought I would be burning in mid May especially since I am still sun burnt from last Sunday!! Just thought I would share, anyone else? B

Fired up the St Croix tonight and the parlor stove will run for a couple of hours. 55 degrees in the house when I got home tonight. supposed to be in the 30's tonight !!

Fired the p43 last night on auto at 66 to keep the chill off. Running her at 70 now and back to 66 for the night.

Closed mine up week ago here in Eastern Pa.[outside Phila]
almost put the AC on couple times this week.

My St Croix turned on 2 nights ago for a little while. Before that, it was off for 4 straight days.

Had a couple nights early this week when it didn't come on, but back to the grind the last couple nights. Maybe next week I can shut it down for the season .......................

Could gave run it Tues early evening but I let the oil heat do one cycle before our guests arrived for a two hour visit. And that was that but if anything now its getting a bit stuffy in the house. May have to open some windows. I think we are done burning for last season. I can call it last season now, yay !

Grass is white with frost this morning and 31 degrees outside. Pellet stove is running.
