It's not quite cool yet here in the land of taxes, but I have been jonesing to fire up my Francesca with her newly installed outside air system. I didn't want any unlikely suprise when it's truly time to put it in service. A short run this mildly chilly morning proved successful. The bright bold yellow flame looked truly oxygen enriched. Seems also the stove was slightly more quiet not pulling directly from the back of the stove. Probably my wishful imagination since the outside intake tube is so small on these stoves. This small stove is a perfect fit for our dining room and is a wonderful compliment to our Jotul #3 in the adjacent and connecting family room. The #3 is the work horse going through 3-4 cord a winter. About 1 ton+ on the pellets. Between the 2 stoves its a lot of work, but have been burning 35 years and the wife wouldn't hear of not having visible flame and high heat. Would also hear it from the dog and cats. So much for Manly
