I ran across this on FB marketplace for sale in north central IL for sale. I would love to restore it and use it in my basement but the 8" flue is a deal killer. I thought I would pass it a long maybe a collector would like to have it, I know the glass doors are fairly rare.

link won't load but search Fisher wood burning stove
there is a second on there labeled "mamma bear" for $1200

$1200 for an old smoke dragon? Wow they are ambitious

From the basement up it would probably draft fine with an insulated liner. No larger inside than a Papa Bear made with 6. Technically not legal to reduce, but many do and physically work fine.

It’s cheap enough to try, and double your money if it doesn’t.
