Flashing help needed

I have flashing problems with my wood stove pipe going through metal roof. I have 6" OD super vent pipe going through an 8/12 pitch pole barn steel roof. Every time it rains I get water in the cathedral box inside that drips down on my stove.

I've already caulked the seams of the pipe thinking that was the problem. The cap is also OK. I'm convinced it is the rubber boot flashing. There is already a lot of screws on that flashing and I'd love to put a new flashing on that was a bit over sized to cover all the existing holes.

Does anyone make a larger maleable flashing with a metal colar that comes up to the pipe that will work on an 8/12 roof?

The example pic is missing a storm collar. If yours is missing the collar, that may be your leak.
It is best to have the top of the flashing underneath the roof metal by sliding it in a slit in the roof panel and sealing between the two.

I have a storm collar and it has a good seal with the pipe. The boot is my problem. I have an orange boot (high temp). Not sure if I really need high temp as I don't think the pipe is all that hot. What I need is a boot that covers a larger area on the roof than the one I have now.

That looks interesting. Does it come in a size to fit over 6" pipe? Will it work on an 8/12 roof? Not much info on that site. I googled it and got sent back to the same site.

They are available for 0-6/12 and 7-12/12. Your chimney will be 8" OD if its 6" super-vent. Its made for 6"or 8".

Call a local hearth store, they should carry Excel. I'm not sure if you can buy it online or not.

Hogwildz is right. The proper way to flash this is with the factory metal flashing, with a slit cut so the top half of the flashing jack is under the metal roof, the bottom half over the roof. The pipe needs to be out for this to be done. Many manufacturers don't approve of the rubber boot.

+1 He is the man for roofing. This installation is with ICC metal roof flashing. The storm collar is not on yet in this picture. It shows the top edge of the flashing under the ridge cap. If in the middle of the roof the top edge goes in a slit under the metal roofing as Hogwildz directed.
