Hi all, we have installed a Regency U39 gas stove on a hearth pad as pictured.
The problem is that the wood floor in front of the stove is hitting 95-100F in a short time and we are anticipating severe drying and checking that we need to avoid.
Has anyone seen something like a low (~12") freestanding heat deflector that we could sit in front of the stove to deflect the heat up or anything of the sort or has anyone else experienced the same issue and come up with a solution other than this.
We would sure like to avoid extending the hearth pad if at all possible but as last resort will go that route.
Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.
Cheers
