Does anyone know the flow impact of flat plate HX. I am wondering what additional Head these add to the pumps. I have a 5x12-70 plate and I am wondering what it's impact on the flow rate is . I may need a bigger pump if it adds a lot of Head pressure. I have looked for this in the literature but I only see pressure drop numbers and I am not sure how to convert.

it depend on how many gpms you are flowing. The more flow the higher the pressure drop. Typically the manufacturer of the heat exchanger would have charts to show that relationship of flow and pressure drop, contact them for the exact numbers.
