I had my stove up and quite on me. So I checked into it. Bottom augur was moving. So dug out the top feed augur and removed all the pellets. This augur was jammed tried my best to get it out but I could not move it. I start work early and get home late. So had to call a service as I just did not have the time to put into it. He called me when he finally got the problem solved. He found a spoon in it. I have no idea how it got into the stove.

Or someone did a cleaning with a spoon a long time ago and forgot about it and it finally worked its way loose...
The pellets I've been burning this year are LG Granlars. Which are a really good pellet. Never have I seen any foreign materials in any of their bags. Even the dust amount is low compared to some pellets I've burned. This is the first time I've ever had a jam in my machine and it was a good one at that. If the pellets were Infernos I could under stand were it came from. The get their recycled wood from New England Recycling in Taunton,Ma. Why if you burn them you get large clinkers. The wood is covered with drywall dust etc.

ohh the old foreign object thread, makes me chuckle every time, I've had customers find literally everything under the sun jammed in the auger.
ink pen from a friend who works in an office (fell out of her pocket while loading)
a Barbie doll ( it was all I could do not to suggest to the mom that she seek professional help for her son who "executed" (his words) the hated Barbie. that one took a while the dang doll was wound halfway through the feed system
had a case involving to separate customers who found golf balls in their top auger seems they both bought pellets from the same big box store (not mentioning the name or location) which sits right next to a driving range, my guess is someone was working on trying to get rid of a nasty duck hook, apparently the balls just punched through the sides of the bags and were assumed to b forklift damage or something and taped up (which is why I hesitate to by torn bags even at a discount)
have had on more than one occasion a customer who "literally" "put a bag of pellets in the hopper then called to find out ho to get the bag outta the feed system.
had a guy with a corn stove who didn't have an auger jam but wouldn't feed as "his corn stripper wouldn't peel the corn off the cob" so naturally the corn wouldn't feed from the hopper.
most common is nails out of the pallets the pellets are shipped on. the occasional piece of a pellet mill, or as in my own personal case in 2005 I found a wire ring with 3 master lock keys on it, weren't my keys apparently they were outta the bag prompting me to call the manufacturer rep (who is now actually a friend of mine) and asked him if he had to cut off any padlocks recently. he still buys the first drink every time I see him.
