That's nothing, i'd get a few more ton's before it was clogged solid! this is mine a few weeks ago, 4 ton's before the first clean of 2014/15.

Looks like just loose stuff accumulated at the bottom, did you just run a brush through the pipe? What pellets are you burning? My Whit runs 24/7 and I clean it once every 7 - 12 days depending on pellets. The inside of my stove has never been that filled with ash. Not even half that amount. HahaView attachment 156724

Only thing I can think of is my stove has the older style burn pot where it's ducted to the air plenum. Therefore, ash can drop directly into the pan. That probably makes a huge difference.I've been burning 18 yr's cleaning is a Pita!, My Broinlaw cleans his daily, he must have a OCD issue...haha, the exhaust i'm sure had dropped it's load when i took the pipe off, I think I was burning Chows or AWF white pines in the Burnpot pic, Ranger72 maybe your not burning 24/7?
That's true if you have the wide older style, as you can see mine has the smaller Ultra grate, all the ash collect's around it, very little ash drop's in my ash pan, I rarely open the ash pan door when cleaning, I pull out the grate and a quick vac down there is fineOnly thing I can think of is my stove has the older style burn pot where it's ducted to the air plenum.
