End of duravent pipe I saw in my travels. Evidently the owner of the stove is too busy to clean it;
I'm only the casual observer here.
That looks about like most i see Yeah it needs cleaned but far from something that would keep the stove from running
Whats the problem? Its more than a silver dollar.
I just had a look at one yesterday that the liner had collapsed and more than half full and was still running and did not want to shut down as the temps were falling and it was 15 here this AM

That's nothing, i'd get a few more ton's before it was clogged solid! this is mine a few weeks ago, 4 ton's before the first clean of 2014/15.

Looks like just loose stuff accumulated at the bottom, did you just run a brush through the pipe? Might not be as bad as it looks if its equally dispersed throughout the pipe.That's nothing
As far as the OP I can't really tell much with the blurry pic. Might only be like a 1/4" thick for all I can tell?
What pellets are you burning? My Whit runs 24/7 and I clean it once every 7 - 12 days depending on pellets. The inside of my stove has never been that filled with ash. Not even half that amount. HahaView attachment 156724

wow I thought I was lazy....
I've been burning 18 yr's cleaning is a Pita!, My Broinlaw cleans his daily, he must have a OCD issue...haha, the exhaust i'm sure had dropped it's load when i took the pipe off, I think I was burning Chows or AWF white pines in the Burnpot pic, Ranger72 maybe your not burning 24/7?
Only thing I can think of is my stove has the older style burn pot where it's ducted to the air plenum. Therefore, ash can drop directly into the pan. That probably makes a huge difference.
That's true if you have the wide older style, as you can see mine has the smaller Ultra grate, all the ash collect's around it, very little ash drop's in my ash pan, I rarely open the ash pan door when cleaning, I pull out the grate and a quick vac down there is fine
I have the original style pot that has the drilled holes with removable liner. I plan to upgrade to the ultra grate, but this burns very well. Hard to justify.
