In The Woods
If everything checks out (liability papers) then the county snowmobile club will be coming through some of our property.

We met them at 10:00 a.m. this morning down the road from our house. We took off through some property that borders ours (cleared some trail) then on our property, they changed the trail on our property so it would meet an old logging trail.

Once we went on the last stretch of trail (just before the picture) we hit skid plate alley !!! the Ranger Six Wheeler had a tire going soft so we headed back the old road while the Razors went back through skid plate alley.

The driver of the Ranger saw this man at his hunting camp so we stopped in for some air and some good old conversation then we headed back.

New York State needs to sign some papers so certain roads in our town can be opened up for four wheelers then it's a go.

From these trails you can go all the way to Old Forge NY.

Thank you very much.
Without private landowners like yourself allowing access across their property, organized snowmobiling would cease to exist like we enjoy today!

The person driving the six wheeler is one of the groomers in our area. As one landowner said (he has 700 acres) that has a big portion of the trail going through his, I like to keep the natives happy.

We'll get some pictures up once the sledding season starts.

Thanks

Where do you live?

This is great. I am a trail administrator at our local snowmobile club and am going out next weekend to check on some trails! Its private landowners that make it all happen. Thank you.

Sometimes he has to live in the doghouse unless he straightens out his ways. His wife makes sure of that.
The lady (Debbie) who is the head of the St.Lawrence County Snowmobile Association called yesterday, it seems after our ride they are not sure about the trail.

The problem is up on the 660 acre piece of property, that one section was real rough. I think becaue it's a multi use trail, NYS says it's got to be smooth ride for all.

Debbie walked about ten miles of trails the other day hoping to come up with a better version, we should find out by the end of the first week of Sept. if they will use our property.

That DH was long gone before I met the boss!!!!
