I'm curious what other FPX owners feel is the best balance of air in take and fan speed to produce the most efficient burn times.

Have you found the fan speed effects the length of the burn time?
I havent experimented too much with fan speed but my perception is that with a lower fan speed the length of the burn has a marginal effect on burn time.

For the air -- how low is your sweet spot?
for me it seems to be around 3/4 closed

The "sweat" spot is when I have put too much wood in. sorry :p
