I found these to be a good pellet here too.

I just bought some this weekend and ran a bag through; light in color, pine smell, lots of "crumbles" but they seemed to burn as good as others I've tried. One irritation is that the bags aren't very sturdy; several had torn by the time I unloaded them.

No matter what I did they always built up in the burn pot. One big molten pile of hot ash.

I just picked up a ton at HD in Stratford CT. I hope they burn well. I can throw them in the Harman.

After burning about a half a ton I can report that these burn with lots of ash and the pieces look like they have been crushed after their round 1/2 inch formation. I have never seen any pellets come this way before. I was not impressed with their heat output but it was sufficient. The best part was I picked them up for $209 a ton at the HD in Stratford.

I burned 10 bags of these this past week. Very nice heat output as measured with my thermocouple. Definitely ash cakes though - the stirrer tends to break them up but the ash is definitely abundant with these pellets.
