Went to bed around 9:45 last night, after loading 3-4 large splits and closing the inlet damper all the way. Got downstairs this morning around 4:45 to find stove top temp around 225 degrees F, the blower still running, and a nice bed of coals. Added a couple of splits and the thing fired right back up again. Room temp downstairs was 75 F and upstairs bedrooms were comfortable (don't know the exact temp as I need to get a thermometer for the bedroom). Wife complained that it was too hot in the bedroom. Maybe tonight we will try leaving the bedroom door closed to reduce the amount heat coming in.

The stove and blower seemed to do a great job moving heat through the house without any extras fans, etc. The house is a 2000 sq. ft. Colonial with the staircase in the center.

Now it only got down to around 35 degrees last night, but I think we are going to be very happy with this stove.

Thanks for all the help and advice,

Mike
