Well my first pellet stove has been in for 30 days now and we absolutely love it---but there is one thing I cant seem to get my head around is the fuel calibration---I can't understand what the percentages are about or what they relate to --maybe someone can explain it to me. happy new year to everyone

Edit: apparently it just tells you when the hopper is empty. Um...I can do that with my eyeballs. It's in the manual that I got from another response here, on page 24. Click the link. manual

I have the same question and clearly no one has the answer. Have you since figured it out? I used this twice. The first time I got a value of -7%, which I understood to mean adjust my feed rate down 7%. Second time I got a value of +7%, and so I adjusted it up. Now I'm getting 13% with no + or -, so I have no idea what I'm supposed to do, but the long and the short of it is that it is supposed to tell you how to adjust your feed rate.

I think you are overthinking or misunderstanding the instructions. The "Fuel Calibration" only "measures" how much you "normally" use, so it can "guess" how much is left in the hopper. It has absolutely nothing to do with adjusting anything else on the stove.
The "feed limit" is your major concern, most run fine as set from factory, but the instructions are very clear.
