I just bought a Garrison II looks like 1979 model. It came with a solid metal sheet on the bottom that is removable. I am not sure where the coals go to? Are they raked out the back and sides and come through the bottom? I assume I set the wood on the metal sheet on the bottom that I am referral to above? Or is this removed. There is also a metal sheet it came with with hooks on one end. Not sure what this is for? See picture. It came with a nice soapstone topper and screen as well. Can’t wait to try it.
