Thank you for this awesome forum! I have a new build and need some help with planning the equipment. I want a traditional wood burning fireplace but with a gas log. An enclosed vented system is not an option. is a power vent available with intake and exhaust that will control the gas log set? I want it remotely controlled electronic pilot.
Thanks!!

You can probably powervent the exhaust from a gas log set, since PV can be mounted on the top of the flue,
but the combustion air is going to come from within your home, & some or all of that air is already going to be
warmed by your heating system & vented out. That is a waste of energy. Remote & electronic pilots are doable & available.
Can I ask why a DV system is not an option?

Certainly. I prefer to not see the frame and glass of a DV. I am building a commercial building in the early art deck style. The floor is concrete and I would like the hearth to be the same levell as the floor. I have seen some separate DV intake/exhaust mounted outside on the wall.
