Question:

I have a Real-Fyre gas fireplace log sets which requires venting. My
friends have a fireplace set similar to this which requires no venting
and of course is much more efficient. Can my log set be converted to a
non-venting operation? And, if so, how much would it be? Would I be
able to use the logs I now have which are very beautiful?

Answer:

The answer is no and no....the sets, burners, logs, controls and everything else are completely different. I'm afraid your set will have to go and be replaced if you really want to go with a vent-free
