Question:

Hello, I am looking for a gas log for a very small bedroom fireplace. Gas service is already connected to the fireplace. The fireplace is 16 inches wide and 21 inches high. The depth of the fireplace at the bottom is 18 inches and 15 inches at the top. The fireplace is vented. I have been able to locate a 12 inch log, but this would not leave must clearance on the sides. I would like to find a 10 inch or 8 inch log. Is there such a thing available?

Answer:

I have never heard of one smaller than 12", but that does not mean that it does not exist. Peterson is the largest and oldest brand in the industry...If anyone has it, they do...

You could also buy the 12" Peterson Burner separately, and install shorter logs (available separate from Peterson)....this setup might take less room.
