Anyone have any experience buying a generic set of woodstove legs/legs from a different brand than the stove, and attaching them to a stove (maybe by welding if the bolt holes don't line up?)
I have an Avalon Pendleton that was used as an insert, however we want to turn it into a freestanding stove. Unfortunately, after consulting with our local fireplace store, I have learned that Travis Industries (parent company of Lopi/Avalon/Fireplace Xtrordinaire) no longer manufactures leg kits, so I'm left looking at other options as to how to get the stove up on legs.
