Glass door air wash

I have a Harman PP38..I see ash building up on the door and starting to mound up along the bottom edge...
My question is this...
Does the Air Wash system blow air up over the door glass or suck air in to keep the door gass clean?
Also,
Can this system plug up?
I dont see anything on how to maintain that part of the system.

I think it sucks air in and down across the glass with the exhaust blower

PP38 ? Will is correct , check your door/ash pan gasket as will as venting if this is a major problem. If not could be the pellets.
