Good friends and good beer....

Forum member Gripptide and I have been friends for a few years and we also work together( he's my boss, A-hole) Anyway, I recently realized how lucky I am to have him as a friend. He's a guy who will pack a truck and trailer full of wood on his day off and drive it an hour from our stacks to my house, without me knowing. He's a guy who truly believes in time with family. He's a guy that will drop everything to make time to help anyone. He's an awesome guy and I'm proud to call him my friend and he accepts that I am a better wood burner than him...

Now if you saw the two of us together, you'd think we hate eachother cause everything we say is a dig towards the other. So I post this on here so everyone who reads can think about the friends they appreciate and let them know.

As for the beer, drink the good stuff, not that light beer yuk....

Good friends are hard to come by. My best friend just left a little bit ago. His Mother passed yesterday at 5:21a. Sometimes it's the things that are not said, that mean the most. Love that guy.

It's nice to know there are people out there, that genuinely care about your family and well being. Sounds like your friend (Boss) is a good one. As for the ribbing..... I only rib my good friends.

I've got a buddy who I've been friends with over 30 years....vacation together, laugh and cry together, and can depend on with just a phone call.....very hard to come by, so don't lose it.

My best bud is more like a brother to me we do anything for each other if I got and he needs it it's his. It's great to have some one that when the chit hits the fan will be there for you no matter what.
