Hello all, I have a quick question. I have a used earth stove 100 series. It came with no grate and the previous owner said he always used it without one. Its got firebrick in the bottom and I belive one coarse on edge around the bottom. Is it safe to use without a grate? The air intake comes in from the back on the bottom. Sorry this is my first wood stove.
