Seems that everyone has a smart phone these days. I recently acquired a PDF file from the Virginia Department of Forestry website. If you have an iPhone, you can save this under iBooks and have access to a very valuable resource for any time you need to ID a tree. I know that this applies to VA but I'm sure it can be related to several states in the eastern U.S. (broken link removed to http://www.dof.virginia.gov/print/edu/Common-Native-Trees.pdf)
