Gree has been mentioned as a low cost builder or mini splits to consider. They made the news in negative light regarding US spec dehumidifiers. https://www.yahoo.com/news/chinese-firm-pay-91m-over-231550732.html

Given that there are major similarities between a minisplit and a dehumidifier, I would question if they should be regarded as good source for mini split.
 
I looked up some of their stuff that they make and sell wondering about the mini splits and if these are really that good and worth it for ac and heat. I come across a amazon ad and to me their window air conditioners look "bent"...Just thought I would share and it also has prices for the different things that they offer for sale.. clancey
