Harman 52i insert burnthrough in the burnpot

Third season on my 52i Acentura and noticed this today during my cleaning. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know what the factory warranty is on the weldments like this?

I suspect too much air is sneeking through the hopper/seals , moving the burn down the pot into the auger / xfer tube , causing a torch of a burn aimed at that location.

I think the warranty is 3 years but don't quote me.

Burnpot is covered for 3 years.Possible bad weldment.Also possible the burnpot gasket has a problem,that led to this.

That stinks and for only three years. I'd jump on the dealer asap to see if you can be lucky enough to warranty it.
