Harman Accentra 52i crack

Hi All, I have a crack underneath the ash pan of my Harman Accentra 52i that I just noticed. This is my 2nd year with the stove. Can all you Harman owners and professionals check yours and give me some advise? Thanks , Matt.

Pretty straight for a crack, looks almost man made like a seam would.

Just get it welded

If warranty denied, I'd Vee it out and weld it and be done with it.

I have the same seam in my circa 2014 52i but it flat and even... looks like you got moisture in there and the seam started to rust a bit?

Awfully straight crack. Looks like a seam to me. I second moisture got in it. I'd be calling the dealer too.

+1 mine has a seam there... never noticed it before.

Actually that is a seam, you can see the tack welds on it

I'd just use foil tape on it and call it good. It's in the coldest part of the stove so the tape would just insure there's no smoke leakage.

Wire brush it and wipe a smear of black RTV on it or paint it.
